Heading 1

We Are Divine

Michael Jaskewicz

Souls are torn on the edge of the line

With a fever born in space and time

Shot through the walls of your prison mind

You better drop your things and leave it all behind

Don't forget all the things you said

Down an empty road to a cold hard bed

Your feet will only take you where you wanna go

But you better face from where the wind blows

Save me the time, I'll take the long road blind

I'll survive

Empty stairs to a level unknown

Where the rooms are filled with premonitions grown

You think you know all there is to know

You’re gonna find out soon there's nowhere to go

You better face your time alone

Just counting cars and skipping stones

You'll never win a battle when the livin's tight

If you don't get in the ring and learn how to fight

Save me the time, I'll take the long road blind

And I'll survive

We are all divine

A world united in a common thread

With revolution spawned and a warning spread

Hidden in the shallows of the hollow below

Hear the cries of the youth with a vengeful tone

Tomorrow's never promised in the eyes of men

No difference who you are or where you've been

You better play your hand if it's a hand to lend

and you might still be standing if your will don't bend

Save me the time, I'll take the long road blind

And I'll survive

We are all divine

Bloom

Billy Siegel

And when the bottles broke around you

You tore the curtains from the room

And when the levy couldn’t hold up anymore

My yellow left, my green was blue

And the waves came crashing down

They told a cautionary tale of love and doom

I deliver hope and will for all regardless of who you are

Why can’t we see we’re all in bloom

Breathe it in

Hum a tune

I can’t live without you

You’re in everything that lives and moves

Air, can’t see or feel you

But you’re a part of everything I do

And when the windows let the sun through

You slowly peeked out of the room

And when you saw the crowd of people just like you

My black and white, became the light

And the winds of change tore down

Through the halls of all the minds once held uptight

I deliver hope and will for all regardless of who you are

Why can’t we see we’re all in bloom

Breathe it in

Sing a tune

I can’t live without you

You’re in everything that lives and moves

Air, can’t see or feel you

But you’re a part of everything I do

And when the chains broke around you

You hung the curtains in the room

And when the limits couldn't hold up anymore

My red left, for purple hues

And the walls came crashing down

Through the rubble shines the light you've got in you

I deliver hope and will for all regardless of who you are

Why can’t we see we’re all in bloom

Breathe it in

Sing a tune

I can’t live without you

You’re in everything that lives and moves

Air, can’t see or feel you

But you’re a part of everything I do

And when the silence falls around you

The mirrors all turned back to you

Please see the beauty that was in you all along

My rainbow dream from me to you

I can’t live without you

You’re in everything that lives and moves

Air, can’t see or feel you

But you’re a part of everything I do

Treat You Right

Michael Jaskewicz

I’ll set your mind on that emotion

I’ll let you peek in through the walls

I’ll show you things you couldn’t take from me

Nothing at all

I’ll let you use me for the thrill

I’ll be your drug and get you high

I’ll take you back to the edge of time

Show me the line

You know I’m gonna treat you right

We’re gonna fly high ready to go

But you know I’m gonna lead you right

Into the arms of the devil’s soul

I’ll give you love and satisfaction

I’ll make you wish you’d drawn the line

I’ll hold you back and take what’s mine

Show me a sign

I know you feel me through the heartache

I know you see me through the smoke

I know your heart ain’t what it longs to see

So what'll it be?

You know I’m gonna treat you right

We’re gonna fly high ready to go

But you know I’m gonna lead you right

Into the arms of the devil’s soul

More Time

John Nemeth

I’m trying to keep it on the positive

but that’s easier said than done

Create a parallel existence

when you’re not your mother’s son

Now who’s to say what thoughts you’d think

when it all starts to come undone

Monotony becomes an entity

to which everyone must succumb

You can blame genealogy

or you can blame it on the times

For sure the early 80’s

shattered it’s fair share of minds

And some may say that chemicals

are just a means onto an end

But I’ve got no time to blame now…

‘cause I cannot find my friend

Tolkien thoughts of simpler times

where old sounds filled our ears

I’m grateful for your knowledge,

but time hasn’t helped my tears

Your mind was ingenuity,

within the strange did you reside

Well I’ll always love you brother,

I just wish we had more time

Make Me Feel High

Michael Jaskewicz

Mirror's staring back at me and the lines on my face

Beard’s turning brown to gray, boy you lookin’ a disgrace

Last night’s adventures still linger on my breath

The pounding in my head telling me there’ll be hell to pay

Gimme something, to make me feel high

Sometimes I wish I did

Sometimes I’m glad I didn't

Wash my face and wipe away all the sins of my past

The water flows down my chin, but not everything can be clean

Look up in those eyes and make a promise you’ll never keep

You’re all alone now, you better get yourself some sleep

Gimme something, to make me feel high

Sometimes I wish I did

Sometimes I’m glad I didn't

Buzzing of these lights telling me it's time to step outside

Look up at the sun, but all you want is to run and hide

You can live a junkie, as your hands tremble and shake

Step across that line, you got plans you better make

Gimme something, to make me feel high

Sometimes I wish I did

Sometimes I’m glad I didn't

Gimme something, to make me feel high

Salad Days

Billy Siegel

Bring back the salad days

The tastings of my youth

Now it seems less typical

Accepting what is truth

I'm okay if we don't agree

Can we keep love in our hearts?

Is there a way we can all say

"I got your...

back" to the earth

Deep in the ground

The warmth of the soil

Keeps pulling me down

This time is born,

So shine if you will

'Cause these are the times of your life…

Bring back the salad days

Dresses and perfume

Vessels of a lifetime spent

Pie-eyed and confused

Hand the key to another soul

It’s free to use the room

Pay the kindness forward son

“I got your...

back" to the earth

Deep in the ground

The warmth of the soil

Keeps pulling me down

This time is born,

So shine if you will

‘Cause these are the times of your life...

You can't have your salad days

You can't bring back your youth

Lookin’ towards the future

Dwell in slivers of truth

The world depends on us to care

No matter the corporate gains

Momentary amnesia spreads us

Back to the earth

Deep in the ground

The warmth of your soil

Keeps pulling me down

This time is born,

So shine if you will

‘Cause these are the times of your life…

Crooked Tree

Michael Jaskewicz

Sunbeams shining through the trees

Standing tall to shelter all beneath the comfort of the shade

A song in the breath of the wind

Like a bird I sing with the tune

To a carefree time of lullabies and nights beneath the stars

I wish this would never end

What a gift it is to see the beauty of an old crooked tree

Blowing like leaves of the past

Unveiling scars of heavy winds and when the lightning tore my soul

I prayed that I would not fall

Glowing in the warmth of the fire

Burning bright with memories of a past that fuels these flames

I hope I remember the names

What a gift it is to see the beauty of an old crooked tree

That sun is laying low

And the storms in the distance sound the call

You can lean on me, I'll never let you down

Together we’ll stand tall

Let it be love that I sow

Every seed of Spring's eternal warmth reminds us we must grow

Now is the time to begin

In the end my life is in your hands

Cut me down for a better view if I was only in the way

My song is still playing in the wind

What a gift it is to see the beauty of an old crooked tree

Butterflies

Michael Jaskewicz

Butterflies in the wind

Just looking for a place where the colors blend

Lord in these dreams it’s so hard to tell

When your back is against the rails in a cold hell

In these hard times you better look a man dead in the eyes

You can’t hide behind the keys with a closed mind

Lord, in these dreams, it’s so hard to tell

When your back is against the rails in a cold hell

I beg you for just a minute, won’t you hear what I say

It’s been forced, the course, until we blow it all away

No more these thoughts, the cost is a deadly price to pay

When your back is against the rails in a cold hell

This Fire

Michael Jaskewicz

Ol’ man in the dark side of the room

See the lights fade away, smell the sweet perfume

Can’t you feel the rain pouring down on your soul

Ol’ man won’t you look upon the child

See the dreams blossoming, the world is open wide

Can’t you feel the rain pouring down on your soul

I saw a light with a thunderclap, tear open wide a hole

To the roots of my very core

Release my conscience, burst forth to light

At last a spirit set free

Ol’ man won’t you look out on the crowd

See the love shining back, like sunshine through the clouds

Can’t you feel the rain pouring down on your soul

Ol’ man won’t you step into the light

Let it wash over you, the dawn decays the night

Can’t you feel the rain pouring down on your soul

I saw a light with a thunderclap, tear open wide a hole

To the roots of my very core

Release my conscience, burst forth to light

At last a spirit set free

I wanna set alight this fire

Feel a burning heart’s desire

The vibration swells

The universe is gonna set you down and get you right

Ol’ man standing on the moon

Just a simple song for you, just a simple tune

I can feel the rain pouring down, on my soul

Apple Tree

Billy Siegel/Kristi Donovan

Sittin’ here under an apple tree

In my head I write my eulogy

I can’t remember feelin’ better days at all

Everybody’s throwin’ rocks at me

All I wanted was some sympathy

I can’t remember any better days at all

But something is there when I close my eyes

I don’t know what it is but I know that it’s mine

So I lean against this apple tree

And I imagine opportunity

Got to find a way to tear down this wall

I’m just so sure I really could break free

But keep forgetting how to use the key

I can’t think of any better ideas at all

But I’m a

Spaceman with a sousaphone playin’ till dawn

Chasing shooting stars, distant melodies light up the dark

Find my own way back to the port of call

Growing magic beans in the moment like it’s nothing at all

Now I’m standin’ by the apple tree

Lookin’ towards the sun I try to see

There really isn't very much for me at all

Everybody’s pulling at my strings

All I ask for is their empathy

Got to satisfy the need in me that’s all

But I’m a

Spaceman with a sousaphone playin’ till dawn

Chasing shooting stars, distant melodies light up the dark

Find my own way back to the port of call

Growing magic beans in the moment like it’s nothing at all

Words In The Wind

Michael Jaskewicz

I said I love you baby

But I can’t find a way

To keep you here, girl

Why won’t you just stay

Like my words in the wind you blow

Like sand through my fingers you go

But I just want you to be my friend

Girl, please stay with me till the end

Times when I felt your touch

I thought we had so much

But you won’t look at me

This room feels so heavy

Like my words in the wind you blow

Like sand through my fingers you go

But I just want you to be my friend

Girl, please stay with me till the end

I sit alone with my thoughts

I could’ve given you so much

But I let you walk away

Frozen with the things I should say

Like my words in the wind you blow

Like sand through my fingers you go

But I just want you to be my friend

Girl, please stay with me till the end

I keep digging this hole

Deep down in my soul I need you to see me through

But I just can’t stand your lips kiss another man

I plead you gimme one more chance

At the end of the day

I fall on my knees and pray

Please just darken my door

Once more

Like my words in the wind you blow

Like sand through my fingers you go

But I just want you to be my friend

Girl, please stay with me till the end

I just want you to be my friend

Mary

John Nemeth/Joshua Nemeth

Mary wanna know where I was last evening

Mary wanna know where I was last night

I said don’t worry baby, I was out day dreamin’

So let’s roll up this number, there’s no need to fight

Mary wanna know will you love me forever

Mary wanna know is it set in stone

I said don’t worry baby, you know I’m not that clever

(You got that right!)

And I’d never be able to make it on my own

Yeah you and me baby, we’re like two birds of a feather

You know a love like ours, is sure hard to find

You and me baby, we’ll be together forever

So come on over here and let’s lose our minds

Mary wanna know what I did with the money

(Where’s the money, man?)

Mary wanna know what I did with the cash

I said don’t worry baby, ‘cause I stepped out last Sunday

Grabbed two zips of flower and a gram of hash

Yeah you and me baby, we’re like two birds of a feather

You know a love like ours, is sure hard to find

You and me baby, we’ll be together forever

So come on over here and let’s lose our minds
